The McKinney Community Band salutes our beloved Land of Liberty at our annual patriotic concert that celebrates all things American – our military, our flag, our founding fathers and our freedom! As always our concerts are free and open to the public. Bring the whole family (our concerts are always-kid friendly!) and enjoy an afternoon on McKinney’s quaint historic downtown square either for lunch before the concert or dinner and dessert after the concert.
FREE TICKETS AVAILABLE/RESERVATIONS SUGGESTED: Due to growing audiences (we LOVE that and thank you!), we’ve been asked by the venue to provide our concert guests with free tickets. We ask that you order one ticket for each person in our party. This will help us better track attendance, which the McKinney Arts Commission appreciates, too, and it allows those with tickets to choose their seats beginning at 3:30 p.m. Those without tickets may enter the theater starting at 3:50 p.m.
Reserve general seating at this LINK.
(You will be taken to a different website, Eventbrite, to complete the transaction.)
If you need assistance or have questions/concerns about accessibility at the concert venue, please email or call the Booking and Patron Services Manager at the McKinney Performing Arts Center, Lara Marsh, at 214-544-4630.
Please enjoy the following YouTube recording of the MCB’s performance Sousa’s Stars and Stripes Forever at our March concert.
Grab your dancing shoes (in case you are inspired to dance) and head to MPAC for a concert of jazz classics by the best crooners of their times – Frank Sinatra, Michael Buble, Nat King Cole, Julie London, Joe Williams, Peggy Lee and more.
FREE! Complimentary tickets are available online (for audience size tracking purposes) from EventBrite.
Do we have a treat for you, our fans? And it’s one we know you’re going to love.
For the first time ever, the McKinney Community Band and the Plano Community Band will join forces for a concert featuring classic selections for wind band. MCB members are excitedly preparing our portion of the concert, as are the PCB members. We know you are going to really enjoy an evening of wonderful music by these two dedicated groups of musicians! As always, admission is FREE.but reservations are recommended by securing free tickets on the Plano Community Band website. (This link will take you to the PCB website.)
Please note that this event is a little different from our regularly-scheduled concerts – it’s on a Monday evening and it is in Richardson, not in downtown McKinney.
